Plan for the project

Day 1

1. Students watch the two films from the HOME page with the teacher.

2. Teacher divides the class into 3 teams (the smaller the teams the better, so if you need to you can divide them into 6 or 9 groups).

3. Each team is given a task from the HOME page.

4. Teams read the information specified by the worksheet and complete the tasks.

5. When they finish, they click the Finish buttons on their worksheets and check their answers.

6. If they find mistakes, they re-read the information and correct their worksheets.

7. When they have everything correct - they memorise the information from their worksheets - they can take notes in their notebooks or on their computers.

Day 2

1. Teacher re-arranges the teams - in each new team there has to be one member from Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3 from previous day.

2. Students teach one another about what they learnt the previous day. They can use their notes.

3. When students are ready, teacher conducts a quiz based on the questions from worksheets. The quiz is meant to check students' knowledge about Ancient Egypt and their ability to teach, listen and co-operate with one another.

To conduct the quiz teacher can use Socrative.com (Space Race) and the following quiz:

SOC-47199651 (how to import a quiz?)

4. Winners of the quiz are granted a reward of teacher's choice:

*something material

*a good grade

*a possibility of forgetting to do homework once in semester, etc.
